PROJECT 1A - PRE-DESIGN ANALYSIS
Architectural Design Project was started off with a preliminary studies which consists of site documentation, site analysis and precedent studies of the site; Taman Titiwangsa. We are expected to study and explore the contextual conditions of site, selected user group and building type, cultural and meaning place, current restrictions and proposed development on site, if it simultaneously affect the project. In a meantime, we also need to inform of the ideas/approach/strategies that can be used in developing this project in a group, where the information can be used later for individual part.
The analysis was concluded and documented through presentation slides.

Moving on to the second project, based on the previous analysis made - students are individually to propose a sketch design for a building that delivers a strong relationship to place, people and time. There are some requirements that has to follow such as:The building must be no larger than 2000 sqm and not lesser than 1800 sqm built in within 3 to 5 storeys which includes covered circulation spaces. Fully open spaces, landscaping, basement parking and others are not to be included in area calculation.
