PROJECT I - DEFINING AND DOCUMENTING A PROJECT
Theories of Architecture & Urbanism was started off with an introduction of the philosophy project management. The first project require students to work in a group of 6, where we are told to act and role-play our job scope as part of the consultants to the design and build a space for the client. We are also require to have a mock simulated meetings weekly.
The purpose of this project is to understand application of project management in a real project environment, to appreciate the need for Project management in the construction industry, understand the basic stages of project management in the construction industry and the basic roles of different consultants in the construction industry, by understanding the use of "success criteria' in evaluating a project.
The project is then concluded in a creation of a group presentation as well as a report.

PROJECT 2 - DOCUMENTATION OF A MEDIUM-SIZED PROJECT
Moving on to the second project, it is an integration module with ADP project. In conjunction with our ADP design, students are individually required to act as the project manager of our own ADP project.
Upon completion of this project, I able to develop my leadership skills in managing a project and to actually understand the real project environment feels like. Having said that, I also get to explore variety ways on documenting a project, either tender process or authorities application. Various aspects are discussed that covers the three crucial success criteria: scope, time and cost that may change the results of the project. I also understood the importance of Work Breakdown Structure and anti Chart in making a speculation to avoid risk from happenings.
The information and results of my project management understanding is then documented in A4 report. It is a report that effectively a proposal about the development and construction of this hypothetical project.
